The Memorial
Weekend Lighted Boat Parade |
The Lighted Boat Parade is held the Saturday night
of Memorial Weekend. Boats decorated with patriotic themes compete for
prizes and trophies. The parade starts on Kentucky Lake at dusk – the
route begins at Kentucky Dam Village Marina toward the dam then crosses
over to the Grand Rivers side. The judge’s platform is located at the
end of the Grand Rivers jetty. The best place to view the parade is at
the Grand Rivers Jetty and Beach area.
