Forrest
C. Pogue Special Collections Library
Listed
on the National Historic Register, this beautiful facility is one of
Murray State University's oldest buildings. Completed in 1930, the Forrest C.
Pogue
Special Collections Library contains materials relating to the history
and culture of western Kentucky and neighboring states. It also
contains genealogical information. You will also find extensive
historical information on Irvin C. Cobb, the Jesse Stuart Collection,
and the Forrest Pogue War & Diplomacy Collection. The library
is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; closed on Sunday. For more information,

Waterfield Library
Murray State University's modern library,
this facility contains several hundred thousands of volumes on three
levels. It is an incredible tool for students at MSU and the
surrounding area.
Calloway County Public
Library
The Calloway County Public Library serves the area with a large volume
of fiction and non-fiction reading materials, as well as reference
books, bookmobile, and fax services. The library is a great place
for children with story-hour and summertime reading programs. The
Calloway County Public Library has special collections including
hundreds of old, local newspapers. Special services are available
to the physically handicapped. The library is located at 710 Main
Street in Murray and is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00
